Shockwave Softball Clinic a Huge Success

The Shockwave Softball Clinic on June 19 was a tremendous success, bringing together more than 35 players from the Sunnyvale Girls Softball League for a full day of instruction, skill development, and fun at Fremont High School.

The clinic featured small-group instruction led by nine high school and collegiate softball players, who worked with our athletes on hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, catching, and base running. Their enthusiasm, knowledge, and mentorship created an incredible learning environment for our young players.

One of the day’s biggest highlights was a special visit from former San Francisco Giants pitcher Noah Lowry, who spent the morning working with the girls, sharing pitching tips, answering questions, and encouraging them to continue pursuing their goals. It was a memorable experience that our players will not soon forget.

This event would not have been possible without the outstanding partnership and support of Coach HectorCoach Mark, and Fremont High School Athletic Director Daniel McCune. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity in helping provide our athletes with such a first-class experience.

A special thank you also goes to Coach Jaime Romero, whose leadership and organization made the clinic possible. From coordinating the event to recruiting an outstanding group of instructors, Coach Jaime’s hard work ensured that every player had the opportunity to learn, improve, and have fun.

Thank you to all of our players, families, coaches, and volunteers who helped make the clinic such a memorable day. Events like these are a great reminder of what makes the Shockwave and SGSL community so special. We look forward to continuing to provide opportunities for our athletes to grow both on and off the field.
