Welcome to Sunnyvale Girls Softball League!!
Sunnyvale Girls Softball League (SGSL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth sports organization serving the communities of Sunnyvale and Cupertino. Established in 2005 through the merger of four Little League softball programs—Sunnyvale National, Sunnyvale Southern, Sunnyvale Metro, and Cupertino American—our league carries on a tradition of local softball that spans over 30 years.
SGSL provides both recreational and competitive fast-pitch softball programs for girls ages 4 to 12, welcoming players of all backgrounds and skill levels. Our focus is on teaching the fundamentals of softball while building sportsmanship, character, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
For players ages 13 and up, SGSL is a proud member of the Quakes Fastpitch organization, which offers extended opportunities for recreational and travel ball across several South Bay leagues.
Our goal is to provide a quality recreation and developmental softball program for girls of ages 4 to 12 regardless of race, creed, color, religion, national origin and/or ability.
At SGSL, we believe the lessons learned on the field—teamwork, perseverance, respect, and leadership—help shape confident individuals and valuable life skills that extend far beyond the game.

We offer a competitive travel ball program Sunnyvale Shockwave that runs between June and August.
