Bases & Burritos, Movie Night Under the Stars
When: Friday May 5th, 2023
Where: Ortega Softball field
Time: 4:00pm-9:30pm (the movie will start at 7:30pm)SGSL is partnering with Rubios for a fundraiser, 30% of proceeds will be sent to SGSL for purchases made between 4pm-8pm on Friday May 5th.

Please head over to our local Rubios (Address: 108 East El Camino Real – Sunnyvale, CA 94087) with your flyer and pack a picnic blanket for a movie under the stars. We will have a projector and Snack Shack open for popcorn and s’mores! The feature movie of the evening is a cult classic, The Sandlot (PG)!
Shockwave Summer Try Outs
Hi SGSL Families,
As a reminder, tryouts for our Shockwave summer travel teams will take place this Sunday, April 30. I’d like to invite all interested players to pre-register now if you’re interested in trying out. Shockwave is a great way for girls to develop softball skills and, more importantly, develop friendships that will last a lifetime. More information about our Shockwave program is included below. Please also feel free to reach out to me if you have any specific questions.

Family Fun Day
SGSL Families!
Come join us for our First Family Fun day!
We will have:
~Face painting
~Games amongst teams for prizes
~Burgers, hotdogs & snacks for sale at our Snack Shack
Along with our Family Fun Day, we will have our SGSL fundraiser “Pick A DateTo Donate”.
All players who complete their donation page will be entered into a raffle to win a bat.
There will also be a raffle for 2 ($25) Dick’s Sporting Goods Gift Cards for all that participate in the fundraiser.

Pitching Clinic
Pitching clinic with Coach Marissa Kacmarsky
2A players are time slot 1:00-2:00pm
3A-4A players are time slot 2:00-3:00pm
Players should bring:
• Someone 15 or older to catch/coach
• A glove and fielding mask
• An appropriate softball for the players’ division
Picture Day
Picture day is Sunday March 26th, 2023.
Please order photos in advance through Memory Makers Images
If your player wants to take a photo with their sibling or friend, print the Buddy Form , return
form and payment to sales tent.
You can also go to the sales tent on event day to fill out the form onsite and pay via credit card.
Photos take 3-4 weeks and the league will distribute to the teams.
