Hit-a-thon Carnival

Hit-a-thon

Hit-a-thon

Hit-a-thon is the one and only ‘FUN’-d raiser that SGSL has.  SGSL girls compete against each other based on their age group for the longest hitter, longest thrower, fastest runner, most accurate thrower etc.  It is a day filled with lots of fun.  Ortega park transforms with bounce houses, BBQ, face painting and lots of other carnival type games.  The winner of each category wins medals during closing day.

Don’t miss out the fun and in the process make sure you talk to friends and family about the event and fund raiser.  All donations are tax deductible.  Make sure to check if the company you work for match your donations.  Thank you for making this event a success.  These funds are used by SGSL to run all the clinics like pitching clinic, batting cages etc that benefit the SGSL players.

One of the most exciting features of spring softball season is the experience SGSL players have at the Sanford Softball game.  SGSL players get to go meet the Stanford players and ask questions, take photos and get autographs.  A few lucky early arrivals actually get to be interviewed by local TV stations and icing on the cake is of-course watching the Stanford girls play an awesome softball game!!
